    I find Oban 14 to be quite underwhelming. In comparison to Balvenie 12 yr doublewood, Oban has a weak nose and finishes like a ghost.

    Great japanese whiskey. Better than either 18 yr suntory or hibiki. Subtle initial smokiness of islay with a highland-esque finish. Lagavuilin lite with a balvenie finish.
