Tastes

The nose has a lot of Cabernet in it. It smells like a strong glass of wine. But the palate is wonderful and very smooth. A lot of fruit with not much spice. The finish is fairly quick.

So good. I don’t know why I don’t reach for Four Roses more often. This single barrel is exceptional. The nose is really soft with fruit. Lots of spice on the front end with oak on the finish.

The nose wasn’t as exciting as the flavor profile. The palette is nice. A mix of fruit and vanilla with a fast finish. Although the finish is fast there is a slight lingering of vanilla. This is very nice bourbon!

Nose: strong alcohol with hints of maple syrup. Palette: sweet cherries, and other fruit. Finish: cinnamon on the front end with a light maple finish.
