My favorite (relatively available) bourbon by far. Perfect blend of spice, full bodied, and richness. I’m starting to have difficulty finding it which is super frustrating. I can’t find a cheaper and comparable bourbon so if you find it, enjoy it. It has a tendency to not be there the next time you visit the store.

Eagle Rare 10 Year Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 11, 2019 (edited December 19, 2019)This stuff is legit. I tried it after hearing everyone rave about it and was not disappointed. However, after comparing, it tastes similar to Elijah Craig. In other words, if Eagle Rare is available for a reasonable price in your area, then get you some! If not, then Elijah Craig will give you a good idea of what it tastes like. -
1792 Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 11, 2019 (edited February 6, 2020)Great bourbon. Tastes similar to Blanton’s when drinking neat. Put a rock in it, and the spice disappears. Recommend this bourbon if you’re looking for something “smooth” with less bite (aka less spicy). -
Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 11, 2019 (edited December 13, 2019)For the price, it’s awesome. However, it’s noticeably less awesome than Elijah Craig, Woodford, and Bulleit. If you can spare an extra $8, then buy those. If you’re tight on cash, then this is a darn fine whiskey. -
My new daily sipper. I like to feel the spice in bourbon and have a rich vanilla finish. This bourbon is everything I need. Tastes like a good single barrel (I.e. 1792, four roses, Henry McKenna BiB). The best bourbon for the price in my opinion. Comparable bourbons to Elijah Craig are: Woodford Reserve, Bulleit, Basil Hayden’s.22.0 USD per Bottle
