The abv kills this for me: I can't get past the heat without ice, and my attempt to drink it without ice means that I don't have the wherewithal to go to the freezer. Somewhere between molasses and cinnamon.

Caramel, thick, turning to spicy heat. Bourbon minus the oak

Smooth, honey - needed a while to warm up and open up. Nothing too distinctive

Odd salty, mushroomy taste up front

Tongue numbing like sichuan pepper. Leathery, cedary smoke, with a slightly floral finish.

Sweet and only medium smokiness from peat. Not getting sea

Light caramel and vanilla. Almost bourbon
