Tequila El Mayor Añejo
Tequila Añejo — Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed May 12, 2021 (edited October 29, 2022)Smooth on the front end. Tiny bite on the backend. Fragrant and smooth throughout.50.0 USD per Bottle -
smell: oak, vanilla and another sweet note I can't discern. Maybe honey or sugar. No alcohol burn on the nose. taste: smooth with a bite on the front and back. It's mellow though. Glass pour: has an oily consistency on the glass when you twirl it around. Seems to be rare to find this bourbon. Took me a year plus to find it.30.0 USD per Bottle

El Jimador Reposado Tequila
Tequila Reposado — Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed February 26, 2019Definitely rail and below. Too bitter and floral for me to consume.20.0 USD per Bottle -
Take my advice........this is a rail drink. There are better selections out there. Don't be fooled by commercialism. If you go to Mexico, you will notice the difference. In the good ole USA, they've diluted it and stomped on it it tastes like. Its too bitter for my palate. When i first started drinking tequila, this was the goto choice, until i started sampling all the tequilas starting from the top shelf of my local liquor store. Thats when i realized there are significantly more selections out there. This, to me, is not good enough for a backup and its still priced and placed on the top shelf. No bueno.60.0 USD per Bottle
