Tastes

This rum and tonic with a lemon slice works well for me. The flavor comes through the tonic. Good all day, every day. Haven't tried it on rocks; probably won't; intend to keep it as a mixer.

My wife likes a Malibu Bay Breeze. This, as the rum component is far superior (of course) to Malibu. The 'toasted' aspect gives it a bit of burnt marshmallow flavor that others, like Brinley Shipwreck lack.

it's no Zacapa Solera, which I prefer but also I moved away from sweeter rums.

switched to this after Montecristo 12 was no longer available. My tastes have changed and no longer prefer a rum this sweet.
