[Whiskey Live NY 2018] - Great stuff from this distillery.

[Whiskey Live NY 2018] - LIS has been putting out some fun drams over the years, but this is not one of them!

[Whiskey Live NY 2018] - Hell yes, now this is how you do barrel proof! You COULD conceivably take this neat, though cutting it with some water is probably the least painful way to go on this. Immediate smooth banana creaminess shines, which helps to immediately distinguish itself from most single barrel/barrel proof whiskies.

[Whiskey Live NY 2018] - It's good but...the standard 10 year old still trumps as one of the best young-ish peated single malt scotches you can get out there. An Oa comes off lighter, sweeter, a bit fresher. Not a bad stepping stone to the Uggy or the Corry.

[Whiskey Live NY 2018] - To be honest, I wasn't so thrilled here. It loses something along the path of age.

[Whiskey Live NY 2018] - Very nice rye!

[Whiskey Live NY 2018] - Attempts to harness the power of the gods, but its mortal coil cannot stand the sheer power of their might. Super sweet candy, but you most certainly need to water it down to even begin to critique this properly, which I did not quite have the luxury of doing.

[Whiskey Live NY 2018] - I was so split on this bottle that I decided to give it a higher mark in hopes that one day I get to try this again and really figure out what separates this malt from everything else I've tried.

[Whiskey Live NY 2018] - I'm actually not sure which iteration of the single malt I tasted, but I did not like it! Youthful grainy banana taste that comes from something that hasn't quite graduated yet. Other than the design of the bottle, typography, and Metal Gear Solid reference that I so wish the name comes from, I'm already on to the next table.
