    Unassuming, gentle and smooth, yet, after a few sips, my conclusion is that this is a splendid whiskey. The notes of oak and honey, with a light floral and vanilla finish and ever so light pepper on the tongue make this a remarkably memorable unremarkable dram.

    A few drops of water and a fine dram for a cold winter night.

    Deliciously smooth. Perhaps too subtle for my palette. Vanilla and caramel come forward, the finish is gentle and does linger. Great with apple crisp!

    Outstanding Islay. Nice just “over” subtle peat and enough smoke that you can feel the fire nearby. Superb lingering finish. After my palate became accustomed to the peat and smoke, the taste of pears and Carmel really came out. Really, this is an exceptional whisky{
