This is my third tasting of this whiskey. With a couple of drops of water, I think I finally get it. Lovely peat with sherry overtones and finishes with a nice chocolate smoke and light spice. Wonderful.

Very light and clean, yet has surprising depth. I definitely pick up raisins and I lean toward green apple over citrus. Lingering light peppery finish. A great addition to the collection.

Too alcohol forward for my taste. Fruity notes do come out, and a lingering aftertaste that is pleasant. But, for the price, it is perhaps disappointing

I sat down with a friend the other night and pulled this bottle out. It seems every time I have a dram of this whisky, I appreciate it more and more. It’s packed full of flavour and I much more complex than most Irish whisky that I have had.

Very pleasant floral notes. A hint of honey, citrus , very light smoke, with a peppery finish. I taste some apple as well.
