My first few pours all i got was a taste of dark chocolate which is what i get on the normal WR double oak. Which is a good pour but i dont enjoy. I also go a super dry taste. I let the bottle sit for a few days and it opened up. And here is notes from that tasting. Nose: oaky, baking spice and cocoa Taste: notes of chocolate but then a dry sugary notes hit. Toasted caramel with a nice punch of oakynees. Finish: Dry finish with notes of sugar and oak. Overall a really nice pour. Now the $199 price tag is very steep.

Nose: Caramel Taste: For the proof the taste is lacking. I get oak and some light rye spices. Finish: The finish lingers with dark chocolate and berry notes and a little bite.

Nose: Light nose but some oak and sugar Taste: Light rye notes, brown sugar, slight tea notes Finish: Dry oak, tea

Nose: Not much there. Ethanol. And a little smoke Taste: Dried fruit, toasted sugar Overall: Smooth, easy drinking

Nose The normal scotch nose Taste All the good things of a scotchs without any peat. I had it over ice and was very pleased with the drink.

First pour Nose: Seet mint, rye baking spice, brown sugar Taste Oak, rye, honeycomb, dry Finish Oak and rye

Nose: Vanilla, oak, Taste Vanilla, oak, dark chocolate. Tart cherry Finish: Super dry, dark chocolate Not worth the $150 price tag. This was my first batch proof since 2019.
