Nose: not much there. I get some oak and a little cocoa Taste: the oak takes over. I get a note of chocolate with a touch of banana. Finsih: Here is where the age of this bourbon shows. The flovor of the banana stays with the oakyness just lingering around. Overall: With this being a 16 year old bourbon the price point is much better than others on the secondary market. It is a really good bourbon150.0 USD per Bottle

Sweetens Cove Tennessee Blended Bourbon (21 Release)
Bourbon — Tennessee , USA
Reviewed March 21, 2023 (edited March 22, 2023)For the price tag this bourbon is a disappointment. Nose: Chocolate strawberry with a hint of smoke. Taste: I continue to get chocolate covered strawberries, it enjoyable. Very little for the 112 proof, almost taste watered down. Finish: The finsih is a little weird. I feel as if I have some tyle of powder in my mouth. The bourbon stays with you but not in the savory way. Overall: if this was a under $100 bourbon, i would be raving about the flavor profile but at the $200 price point i expect amazing and this just not deliver.200.0 USD per BottleVirginia Commonwealth University -

Bardstown Bourbon Co. West Virginia Great Barrel Company Blended Rye
Other Whiskey — USA
Reviewed February 17, 2023 (edited April 20, 2023)Nose: It has a odd nose. I get the cherry with note of oak Taste: Baked cherry, floral note almost potpourri like, light rye notes, Finish: Man the whiskey just sits on the tongue with a spicy cherry just staying with you. Overall: the price tag for this bottle does not equate to the age and overall flavor of this whiskey. They dont give the percentages but 6 year old rye and 12 year old 100% corn whiskey.165.0 USD per Bottle -
Kentucky Owl Bourbon (Batch #12)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 4, 2023 (edited September 13, 2023)Nose Smoky, dried fruit Taste : Baking spices, dried apple, cinnamon. Toffee Finish: The spices stay with you and it’s a dry finish. I love the kentucky owl products but man the price point is a killer. Since it’s a blend of a wide range of aged bourbons it should be a lot lower of a price point.400.0 USD per Bottle
