I really enjoy the barrel proof Elijah Craig. This one is no exception. It comes in a little low on the proof at 122 but it is very smooth. Sweet candy taste with some pepper.

Nice and fruit with with a hint of nut. Big smoky taste. For under $50, one of the best high proof bourbons on the market.

It’s a smooth whiskey but the peat is a little over powering. I’m not a peated whiskey fan.
