Balvenie Portwood 21 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed March 10, 2018 (edited April 24, 2018)I want to love this whisky, it is everything I would expect from a speyside scotch. In addition to that it is very smooth. Is it worth $200 though? Probably not. -
Shieldaig 12 Year Speyside Single Malt
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed March 10, 2018 (edited April 24, 2018)Nose is almost identical to glenfiddich 12. Similar taste profile too although rougher. Tastes like an improperly finished glenfiddich 12. It's almost like they have picked a flavor note and gone with it, unfortunately it isn't a particularly good note. -

Fighting Cock 6 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 10, 2018 (edited March 13, 2018)Very spicy, citrus notes on the nose, not very well aged and has a roughness that burns all the way down. Probably needs an ice cube to calm it down a little.
