2 oz. pour neat. Nose of peanut shells, cinnamon, and oaky tannins. Rye is featured on the palate with pepper and spicy phenols. Great value for a higher proof bourbon. Works well as a mixer in an old fashioned and straight on its own.

1 oz. pour at Jack Rose. A real treat. Complex flavor profile with notes of WT funk, pepper, and a warm Kentucky hug.

1 oz. pour at Jack Rose. Inviting nose of caramel and vanilla mirrored in flavor. Damn tasty

1 oz. pour at Jack Ross. Punches above its weight class. Spicy rye shines through in nose and finish. Good value.

2 oz. pour neat of NH State Liquor Single Barrel. This used to be my favorite mixer, but the price has gone up and availability has gone down. Nose of caramel, vanilla, and honey mirrored in flavor. Smooth and balanced with a spicy edge and slight Kentucky hug in the finish.

2oz. pour. Nose of honeyed fruit. Smooth and well-balanced with notes of marmalade and orange pith. Sweet sticky finish.

2 oz. pour on Thanksgiving 2025. A lottery win from NHSL that has lasted through sips on special occasions. Nose of cinnamon, oaky tannins, and caramel. Rich and velvety texture with notes of honey, vanilla, and maple. A viscous beast of a bourbon that I feel thankful to have.
