    There’s not much available in Philly in the BIB category, so was happy to find this. Alcohol nose. Heavy rye flavors, but surprisingly smooth. Caramel aftertaste. Makes a nice sip and a pretty damned good Manhattan.

    Smooth, but has very little personality. Sweet on first sip, with a little bitter hit to the back of the throat at the end. It’s an easy sip, but forgettable.

    Slight spiciness, rich initial flavor that dissolved into a slightly harsh aftertaste. For me, this inexpensive, but different bourbon is worthy of a place among my usual collection of 8-10 choices.
