Fresh pear and apricot, warm vanilla, long cedar and peppercorn finish

For what this is, it’s fantastic. The flavor profile just isn’t my preference, leading to a lower score. Incredibly well balanced, not surprising for a wine maker, the nose brings out fresh berries, blackberry in particular, with wafts of caramel. The palate is loaded with vanilla, maple, caramel, and spices. Just a bit too sweet for my liking, but incredibly smooth. Great as an aperitif.

The nose is hot, with stone fruits and spices, followed by some sweet vanilla. Palate is like a warm, baked apple pie, followed by candied almonds and warm spices. This is a good bottle, but certainly overvalued, as I purchased it at $75.

A wonderful Highland Scotch. Nose is light, showcasing lemongrass, citrus, and the slightest bit of peat. The palate brings forth apples, honey, citrus, and lemongrass, all covered in a pleasantly light peat flavor. One of my go-to Scotch’s.
