Not what I would call a really peaty fragrance I smell the spice has a very pleasant tartness a wickedly enjoyable burn the aftertaste is not so much.

This is a peat taste without the fragrance you would get with other Islay scotches. Even my wife who hates the smell of Laphroaig likes this.
