Tastes

I'd say this is closer to Shochu than Whiskey. Usually my go to Shochu is Ichiko but I may try this again. Also fun that that is made where my family is from.

This is $52 at the Waipio Costco if you live on Oahu. This price is a steal! I'm buying another bottle the next time it's my turn to do the Costco run.

I must have had a drop still left on my lips when I gave my son a kiss before his nap. An unknown male came downstairs looking for the rest of the can about an hour later. His chest hair was flowing wildly and he was squeezing out of a pair of OshKosh B'Gosh overalls, something like Lennie Small. He threw open the door to the liquor cabinet, quickly cleaned out the rest of the tin can, along with everything else. He turned to me, punched me in the face and trudged out the front door leaving it hanging from the hinges. The warning label should have been larger. Also I no longer have lips.

Nose I'm getting is menthol and smoked meat, with a couple drops of water I get some northwest ocean and forest. Taste I get the peat and the ocean, with water I get a little smooth, rich, sweetness. Nice warm flavors, it's stormy out so this works perfectly. $60 on Oahu.

They carry this at my local Costco for only $40 on Oahu. Such a great value. Still one of my favorites.
