Nose: caramel vanilla toffee marshmallow with water more fruity orange (?) nutty Body: medium Palate: pepper caramel vanilla with water caramel shins. envelopes the mouth prior to water. Finish: medium Note: wheated bourbon, delicious in there with EC23 & EC18

Nose: lighter caramel than the 23 salty toffee maple syrup easy on the nose water gives it apple Body: medium Palate: more pepper than 23. Caramel toffee is light vanilla, water killed the spice, maybe too much water. Finish: medium to short slightly warming Note: initial impression is I like it more than 23

Nose: vanilla caramel molasses with water cherry nuts nose gets oaky with water Body: medium Palate: woody, spicy caramel Finish: medium Note: doesn’t let long enough reminds me of Jefferson’s 18, is that the remount of time in the cask? Delicious

Representing speyside rothes river Nose: sherry and caramel, molasses. Mix of heavy sweet with light salt. Hint of smoke. Beautiful nose without water. With water nose opens up to give green grape and roasted nuts. Body: full, 55.1% comes through with out water. Water calms this down. Palate: sweet caramel, sherry powers through with a lovely hint of smoke. Really tastes like it smells. Delicious. Water takes this beats and allows it to mellow out. It is absolutely delicious and unfolds in layers of almost chewy caramel and nuts. So good. Finish: looooooong and spicy hot without water. With water the length is punctuated by caramel, smoke and nuttiness Note: water makes this a much more enjoyable dram. This feels like the perfect dram for sitting in a smoky room in big leather chairs shooting the breeze with the boys. Just a great dram
