Tastes

This bourbon smells of sweetness, a soda-like syrupyness. It is a tasteful and spicy drinker. Even at 110 proof, it is not distant from smooth. The oakiness and overall sweetness is pleasant. This is fantastic whiskey. My bottle was a store pick for Bourbon Street.

This bottle is sweet, smooth, and light. It goes down easy and is a great introductory bottle. It can definitely serve as a daily sipper.

This is as close to perfect as I would assume someone could get for $50 a bottle or so. This is a terrific bottle, with a very sweet taste, little heat but a nice warmth to it.

It has a wonderful vanilla smell, with fairly sweet notes. It is smooth but has a kick in the finish. Its almost spicey. The mouthfeel is really nice.

Smooth, great mouthfeel. It is a sweeter bourbon but it is not too forward with that sweetness.

Elijah Craig small batch is sweet but doesn’t overdo it. There is a smoothness and a complexity to EC that anyone can appreciate. The hints of vanilla and caramel are lovely.

Incredibly smooth, with a strong vanilla scent and flavor. Caramel and other sweet, fruity undertones are present as well.
