Tastes

I was excited to try a new type of whiskey and the back story. Unfortunately it seemed to be a gimmick. This should not be labeled as whiskey. It taste like sour ape puckers mixed with Canadian club. Not a fan. I am open to trying new things but this is clearly trying to take advantage of the apple success. It taste like they use jolly ranchers for flavoring. Horrible after taste.

I decided to try this bourbon after some convincing by the bar tender and a free promotional glass. ... It enitionally hit very hard but maybe it was because it was my first drink. After another sip it became more welcoming but had a sharp after taste I wasn't a fan of and couldn't put my finger on what it was. Overall not bad for New York... And yes after I finished sipping it the bar tender confessed he was from New York so naturally thought it suppiorror
