George Remus Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Bourbon — Indiana, USA
Reviewed April 12, 2021 (edited July 25, 2021)You can read all the tasting notes from others. I think it is pretty good, especially for the price. it has a good nose & taste, but the rye is very present- if you like Rye, you will probably enjoy it. It is a little too Rye for me. I love a lot of MGP products and I really wanted to like it more. I like bourbons that are a little sweeter and MGP does make that type of juice but they went a little bolder with Remus with Rye and I think it just misses for me.32.0 USD per Bottle -
Chattanooga Whiskey Cask 111
Bourbon — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed February 19, 2021 (edited March 27, 2021)Fantastic nose, very sweet and pleasant. Taste has all the typical bourbon notes with a little bit of pepper but it is not high rye? Interesting and very enjoyable for a 2+ year product. Tastes likes an older bourbon. I am excited for the future on Chat whiskey. Wish the price was a little lower but it is worth having in your Collection due to nose and unique flavor.49.0 USD per Bottle -
I like makers mark but mix with Diet Coke. When Makers 46 came along I was skeptical due to one more 1% alcohol by volume. It is like makers but more and can be enjoyed neat. A little darker flavors but I still get cherry and caramel on the nose and a little more wood on the taste. I like it at the price point but I cannot find another “wheater “ that I like more to drink neat.35.0 USD per Bottle

Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 27, 2020 (edited November 30, 2020)The nose reminds me of cinnamon red hots. I really like the nose. Palate: a little bitter with some rye spice- baking spices, oak. There is a strange note that I have noticed. I am trying to like it as my son bought a 1.75. -
Markers mark is one of my favorite bourbons to mix with Diet Coke. It has a bit of a cherry and vanilla flavor. Today, I tried it neat and with a bit of water and it is above average. it has a very distinct flavor that I can pick out whenever I try it. So many bourbons taste similar and Markers taste unique. Most look down their nose at Markers as a starter bourbon and maybe I am simple but I like the flavor profile. Again, I really like it with Diet Coke. Cheers!25.0 USD per Bottle
