spicy and very warm I wouldn’t call it smooth - but that’s not always the measure of a whiskey if you want a whiskey to wake you up and get you going this is the one. they market themselves as a campfire whiskey and I can think of no better place to enjoy it. Will definitely be in my ruck on my next trip. The price/quality ratio is incredible and though it’s certainly not the best whiskey you’ll ever drink, it’s still a very solid choice.

Warm in the mouth. heavy vanilla, slightly finish, though not unbearably so. Others said it - good enough whiskey, if it weren’t for the packaging it probably wouldn’t stand out. Will probably but again to share with the boys.

Sweet and smooth and soft. Almost unlike a whiskey - you can still tell it’s scotch, but it’s incredibly soft. The notes of sherry are very evident.

Tastes like what i expect island whiskey to taste like. Makes me think of the tropics, palm trees and sails. Makes me want a cigar. Smooth in the mouth and on the nose, very little volatility in the mouth.

When they say double wood they mean it. Smells like a campfire in the woods. Feels warm on the nose and in the mouth.

Smooth warm and silky. Tastes like Christmas - sweet, spicy (herbal) and warm. Notes of almonds and honey. Goes down smooth and warms the back of the throat. Not a super distinct flavor profile. Doesn’t seem to stand out much.

Vodka - by nature - is not going to have the complex notes and depth as scotch or bourbon, Deep Eddy makes no bones or attempts to hide it. This simple vodka is sweet, smooth and easy to drink. A great mixer, or on the rocks. Sweet and simple and just plain fun to drink.

Taste like a burning log, warms you inside. Smooth in the mouth and harsh on the back end. Feels like scotch should - aggressive but smooth, rugged and toughened and smooth and warm. Like a warm peat fire in a Scottish in. Easy on the nose, fruity with a very mild note of the oak. Smoothest 10 i’ve ever tasted.
