Sweet tart nose, full and fruity with a big spicy back.

Grape on the nose. Light honeydew and a touch of smoke twine into a tight bitter finish. Not in love, but godammit I respect its sensitivity.

Tart cherry nose with a little of that reedy young wood varnish sass on the palate, which I like. Sweet vanilla finish with some lingering savor. Viva Cascadia!

Sun-kissed amber color. A vanilla nose and a vanilla finish make for very symmetrical sipping. Straightforward and sweet in a pleasant way, like the girl next door in a glass.

Booze at first then syrup and orange peel on the nose. The more I’m sipping the more I’m tasting 50/50 bar, which is alright by me. Abrupt finish, but a charming little dram. Long live the spirits of Oregon!

Had a bottle of this a year or so ago and remembered a fine vanilla finish I didn’t find this time. What I did encounter was fresh apple on the nose and in the mouth as well as a bit of brown sugar and cinnamon. Pleasant slice of pie in a glass.

Neat (no water). Tasted some honey to start, but now I’m getting mostly alcohol heat and tongue tingle. Not digging it to be honest, but that may be because I was headed to my local pub for a dram of Red Breast but it was inexplicably closed so now I’m sipping top shelf bourbon in a sports bar like a derelict Jerry Jones or some shit.

Don’t believe the hype. Thin.

Brash and boozy nose with a bit of varnish greeting you at the door. Shot of back palate spice then an intriguing finish with a couple shades of savor, with a hearty almost garlicky moment near the end. Didn’t like at first but keep coming back for that finale. Definitely add a decent amount of water.
