This is a pretty good whiskey for the price. Strong alcohol burn on the nose with a bit of an oaky background. Good mouthfeel, coats and the flavors stay around. Sweet with a hint of vanilla up front, with a change to a strong leather finish. This reminds me so much of Johnnie Walker Blue at 20% of the price.45.0 USD per Bottle

This is not a bad bourbon. But it shouldn’t be this expensive and the rating takes this into consideration. This is not even close to their original outlaw bourbon. I dont remember what I paid for it…maybe $120-130? Definitely not worth it. It lost a lot of its peppery harshness on first sip, which is my favorite part of the original. There isn’t a lot of complexity left to make up for it. The mezcal flavor is there, but thats about it - It’s a middle of the road bourbon with a hint of agave flavor and an unnaturally sweet scent and finish. If this were in the ~$50 range I would have given it 3-3.5 stars. But this is just not worth the money.130.0 USD per BottleYellow Rose Distilling
