Tastes

The nose on this one is sweet, reminiscent of honey, and slightly medicinal, giving off a alcohol vapors. The palate is almost like a bourbon with a ton of sweetness, and flavors of oak, honey, and molasses. Not bad at all.

Strong on the vanilla, cinnamon, and maple notes. The woodiness is also present and pervades throughout. A sweeter bourbon that doesn’t hit too hard.

Definitely has some spice. The usual sweetness and notes of vanilla and caramel are fully present on the nose as well as the tongue. There’s also a hint of fruit reminiscent of green apples or under-ripe pears. Most of the spice is in the finish and adds a nice warm end to an interesting experience. All in all, pretty good.

Right away the flowery, herbal notes smack you right in the face. The body has cherry, raisin, and general herbal notes. The finish is sweet and smooth, almost carrying a butterscotch flavor. Very nice.

A little on the spicier side with strong wood and oak notes. Slight vanilla on the finish. Pretty good for a young bourbon.

Notes of vanilla, oak, and cinnamon. A great combination of sweet and smokey. Great as always.
