Tastes

Nose - strong vanilla and oak. Brown sugar. Not much alcohol at all. Palate - sweet with some oakiness and big vanilla bomb at the end. Finish - medium finish with more sweetness than you’d expect from a 107 proofer.

Nose - surprisingly not a lot of heat, initially get a lot of light fruit - Juicy green apple, peer and cherries. Get the oak char on the back end and maybe a hint of orange zest. Palate - medium but nice mouth feel. Coating and drying but not over dry. Get that initial fruity sweetness that quickly turns into a lot of vanilla and oak. Definitely hot but not too hot where you can’t sift through all the flavor. Finish - medium to long finish. Pepper and alspice. Get the good ole Kentucky hug at the end. Definitely one of my favorites.

Fantastic nose of vanilla and peanuts. The palate is full bodied and matches the nose with an excellent oak finish.

Excellent for my palate. Super underrated IMO. Nose is very ethanol forward initially but after sitting for a few minutes get a lot of vanilla, sugar and oak notes. The initial mouth feel is probably the most enjoyable aspect of this Bourbon for me. Very light and coating with a rush of sweetness. Get a lot of brown sugar and vanilla on the palate. The finish is short and spicy. Every aspect of this bourbon is enjoyable. Haven’t seen any glowing reviews of this bourbon but for me it’s one of the best bangs for your buck. Highly recommend.

Nose is full of cherries and leather with a bit of black pepper sprinkled in. Get a lot of cherries and vanilla on the palate and a nice spike of spice at the end. Short oaky finish. Great bourbon for those just getting into whiskey. Super easy drinking with good flavors.

Very bourbon-esque rye with great spices throughout the palate and finish.

Very pleasant nose; light fruit, oak and vanilla. Palate is bright and fruity with some oak and cinnamon on the finish. Very easy drinking with surprisingly spicy finish. Great balance and overall great bourbon.

Great nose. Vanilla and wood. Spicy yet balanced palate. Great daily drinker.
