Balcones Lineage Texas Single Malt
American Single Malt — Texas, USA
Reviewed October 11, 2020 (edited February 10, 2021)This is really great! Tastes very similar to balcones 1 single malt but a milder approach and a longer finish -
Stranahan's Sherry Cask
American Single Malt — Colorado, USA
Reviewed September 21, 2020 (edited March 7, 2021)It’s pretty good. It’s not super nutty the times I have had it but it is pretty rich and full flavored. Really is quite enjoyable -
This whiskey is super inconsistent. Of the 5 times I have tried it so far I have enjoyed it twice. The main drawback is that it has a burst of rich intense flavors and then they all vanish so quickly it’s almost painful. The times I have enjoyed it have been after I’ve had a whiskey I already enjoyed. So in that way it compliments those. Buy the little bottles from total wine and see if you like if after multiple attempts. Don’t invest in a bottle unless you’ve tried it multiple times. Of the enjoyable times I’ve gotten the following flavor profiles 1. The most intense speyside scotch ever and it was wonderful 2. A coffee, nutty, malty burst and an instant drop. I hope you enjoy it. But you’ve been warned.60.0 USD per Bottle

Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 20, 2020 (edited October 20, 2020)Just get it. It’s that classic bourbon taste without the cost. You won’t be disappointed and if you are who cares it’s so cheap -
Westland Sherry Wood American Single Malt
American Single Malt — Washington , USA
Reviewed September 20, 2020 (edited December 12, 2020)First of all, this is very similar to Macallan, the same notes are there just in different amounts. I’d say this one is not as rich as Macallan but also noticeably smoother. The dark notes might be closer to coffee than nutty but as I mentioned overall very similar. For around $10 extra dollars for this one I’d say it’s worth it to support American small business and craft distilleries. Worth a try but might not change your life. I would try to find it to sample at a bar before you buy. Also its a plastic screw top instead of a cork. I needed vice grips to get the damn thing off each time.77.0 USD per Bottle -
Real Spirits Texas Hill Country Signature Whiskey
Blended American Whiskey — Texas, USA
Reviewed September 18, 2020Really great Single malt. Very balanced whiskey, Wouldn't say any one thing sticks out its just got equal amounts of all whiskey flavors. not quite Scottish taste but also not fully American. Definitely a good go to standard whiskey. Medium bold flavor profile no spice, not too sweet. as I mentioned balanced.55.0 USD per Bottle
