Tastes

Cinnamon and allspice notes are heavy, as is the oak and rye spices. It's like a boozy, complex cinnamon roll. Makes a nice companion piece to the banana, nutty notes from Bookers Grandma's Batch. Overall I really like this one. It's still not as amazing as The Black Prince, but I've found few that floored me quite as much as that one did. I like it better than BH V and probably BH VI, though Samurai Scientist was underrated on my book. It's a great whiskey that costs quite a bit. Worth it for me, but I definitely see others not feeling the same.
