A Costco brand bourbon? HAHAHA Yes, I was skeptical, but curious. I have to admit... it's really not that bad. It's actually quite enjoyable. Mixes well with cocktails. I don't agree with the price, though.

I've had only one drink of this at a bar, 2 oz. ...so it's hard to judge. But what I do distinctly remember was that it was sweet, tart, and fruity... then after a bit, there was some odd soy saucy aftertaste. It wasn't terrible...just unexpected...and weird.

This sits somewhere between Eagle Rare 10-Year and Blanton's Single Barrel (and so does the price, it seems). I love both of those products; therefore, I love this one.

It's not the most intense of most barrel proofs I've tried out there, but the price makes up for it. It still has the pleasant rich and sweet flavors of the BT products I enjoy.

I'm guessing the major highlight of this bourbon is it's incredible price. Although it does deliver the common flavor note levels of a single barrel, it just seems to barely meet that minimum. Thus, it's not really something exciting to look forward to as a regular repeat buy, even with it's great price.

I think this bourbon is judged way too critically and underrated. It's easy to sip, high proof, full of rich, pleasant flavors, widely available, and bang for the buck. You can mix it, spill it, throw it away on guests who care none for whiskey, and not feel much guilt or anger.

In a world of 'you get what you pay for', I felt this should not have been more than $25 a bottle at best. The pleasant flavors are there, but not as intense as those in its price range. I'm genuinely baffled how this got such an extremely high Distiller Score. Because of it's history and legacy?

Sweet, rich, and full of flavor. Heat range is just right for me; allows me to enjoy the taste notes (rather than numbing my taste buds).
