Maple syrup nose. Smooth sweet pallet. Just a almost perfect bourbon. My only complaint is the last of a kick at the finish. Deep dark nicely done bourbon.

Nice, spicy pepper and caramel sipper. One cube really opens it up. Better than the Bullett that I’ve had before, and I liked the original Bullett.

Not impressed. But not terrible either. Little thin , oily, but very sweet. Much better choices at 50 bucks a bottle.

Spicy and nice hot finish , yet very little burn . Never a bad choice to keep on the shelf and one cube of ice is perfect.

Nice , reliable bourbon, Woodford does it right . There are better bourbons out there but for the price you really can’t go wrong with this brand .

Nice , easy drinker . Can’t beat it at retail. Not many brands this good at 30 bucks a bottle

Meh, not bad but not great . Smooth empty soft taste and finish . Maybe it would be better if it was a higher proof . Just a little bland for an 8 year bourbon

Found this at 55 bucks at my Costco and snatched it up immediately. I had the small batch about a year ago , and it was one of all time favorites. This single barrel is even better. Just wish it was more available. Wonderful taste and finish . Hard to find anything as good , especially at the 55 dollar price range

Probably one of the best (under40 bucks) bourbon on any retail shelf. If you have never had it , get it. Smooth and spicy at the same time. Nice finish and just the right kick . The Russell’s know what they are doing . Highly recommend to get a bottle and discover what 40 bucks can get you in bourbon.

Revisit to this , and it is still one of faves . Haven’t seen it for less than 70 bucks lately( when I can find it). But it still one that , if I see it , I buy it. One of my all time favorites, that may actually be available at retail. Excellent nose, start and finish . 1 cube really let’s it loosen up.
