Arta Tequila Extra Añejo
Tequila Extra Añejo — Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed April 27, 2018 (edited July 10, 2021)Best tequila I’ve ever had. Caramel nose with hints of spices. Even with 5 years aging the tequila maintains a nice strong blue agave taste with hints of pepper and oakiness. Very well balanced and very smooth to drink. -
Kirk and Sweeney 18 Year Rum
Aged Rum — Dominican Republic
Reviewed December 31, 2017 (edited July 22, 2021)Very enjoyable, smooth sipping rum. Goes down perhaps too easily. However not quite as complex taste as the Zacapa 23 or a 30 year Ron Medellin I’ve had. -
Espolòn Añejo Tequila
Tequila Añejo — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed December 31, 2017 (edited June 2, 2018)Decent tequila for the price. A bit harsh. Not as smooth as the similarly priced Corralejo Reposado and not nearly as enjoyable as a little more expensive tequilas like Casamigos. Use for mixed drinks but not for sipping. -
Rhum Barbancourt Estate Reserve 15 Year
Rhum Agricole Vieux — Haiti
Reviewed December 31, 2017 (edited October 17, 2020)Caramel, spices, and oakiness. A whiskey drinker’s rum. -
