Tastes: dark chocolate and nice smoky finish. Not so much brine and medicinal taste of the Laphroaig 10. Strangely better neat then adding a little bit of water.

Taste: caramel with ashy smoke to the finish not a tobacco smoke like Lavagulin or Ardbeg. Not much brine or sea taste like with the other Islay (Laphroaigh, Ardbeg). Interestingly if you drink enough, you get apricots at the end.
