Whistlepig 10 Year Small Batch Rye
Rye — (bottled in) Vermont, Canada
Reviewed February 5, 2021 (edited April 21, 2021)Second tasting of this and it is still the same. Smells hot and peppery. Dried out my month and prickled my tongue. The vapors are high and all I taste. Afterwards all I taste is grain. Like I took a hand full of grain and started chewing. Needless to say, this is not my favorite. -
Wild Turkey Master's Keep Cornerstone Rye
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 5, 2021 (edited March 13, 2021)Smells a little soapy. A light oily coat across the tongue and makes the month tingle with all the feels. Goes down with a little spice. An after taste of cherries, then after a few minutes the rye pops up.
