Sweet. Lots of vanilla, corn, and caramel. Pretty smooth with very little bite. A great introduction to bourbon and perfect for cocktails/mixed drinks. Not really a sipping bourbon at all.

Very peaty and smoky. Lots of iodine and phenolic notes. Very representative of Islay whiskies. Definitely not for beginners
