Overall the nose was not my favorite, a bit to much nail polish esc sweetness, though I loved the poached pear note, but the palate was one of themes different nose to palate combos ive ever experiences. the palate was so earthy, not sweet with a light bitterness. Very delicious with a earthy medium finish.

A lovely thick dram that carries the peat very well! The nose, probably my least favorite part of this, has a great burnt bacon note but it is covered in a young nail polish-esk note. The palate and finish is where this whisky shines! It is thick, full of beatiful dark smokey peat with a great spice and sea salt.

A nice entry by Torabbaig as they seek to battle Talisker for Skye supremacy! Definitely super young and needs years to mature, but has nice sea salt, and peat that is great but needs time to develop!

A light and pleasant whisky that starts with a citrus notes on the nose and a bit of bitterness. The palate is light with lemons, gentle spice, barley, and honey. Finish is short to medium, with a acidic bitterness note.

A solid sherried scotch that does everything well. It has the nice warm and light spicy notes that play well together. Nothing that really sticks out as impressive but all good flavor notes! Looking forward to what Billy Walker does from here on with this distillery!

Absolutely beautiful! Probably the most complex 10 year old whisky to ever exist! It is an experience! The nose plays perfectly into the palate and grows into a legendary finish! It has the beautifully sweet nose full of fresh fruits with a lovely cambeltown funk that brings it together. The palate is loaded with everything! Balancing pineapple, raspberries, lemon, light peat, and light coffee bitterness. It has a finish for the ages, as the peat wraps everything together like wrapping paper on the best Christmas gift ever, and gives it you slowly! The finish is slowwwww, and wonderful! A truly masterful whisky!

Wow, Bunnahabhain turned up to 11! deep sherry with notes of raisins and apricots, sweet nose that has wonderful christmas spices throughout. A beautifully complex and powerful dram. Surprisingly smooth for 60%abv, and a palate that is bursting with sweet and spicy flavors that i look forward to getting to know more! Really pleased to be blown away by non peated scotch!

Nose was pleasant, vanilla, cinnamon, and the palate had cherry vanilla cinnamon vibes. Overall solid but nothing standing out. Stanahan’s offerings are unique and worth trying in that they straddle this line between bourob and scotch. Though a single malt, it has so many bourbon like qualities. I could warm up to this distillery with time, just was caught of guard with the unique take on whisky, but unique kn a good way and i look forward to trying some offerings from them in the future. Tour at the distillery was absolutely worth it! And a great location!

A well balnced and easily aproachable dram that this time around i found more cherry, and oak notes with a great touch of cinnamon as well! It a nice little peatt note right at the end when you swallow which i enjoyed. Overall a good dram, but in every aspect left me wanting more, either in complexity or punch. Would be curious about a cask strength version to see how oban flys withiut the 43% leash! It ended up being a free dram because the fokd came out so late and and the kitchen feld bad! Great experince!
