Corsair Triple Smoke American Single Malt
American Single Malt — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed January 3, 2015Nose : sweet spicy smoke (reminds me of anejo Tequila) Sip: sweet, chocolate Finish: campfire, and liquorice. This tast like a smokey Stranahans to me and smells like Tequila. I am definitely not schooled in single malts or Scotch so I have a hard time placing these flavors. Not a bad drink but can't say I would make this a daily affair. If you want something different from the norm give this a try you won't be sorry. (sample provided by a friend, Thanks Casey) -
Ancient Ancient Age 10 Year
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 3, 2015 (edited December 15, 2017)Nose: buttered corn, citrus orange, faint trace of mint Sip: thin, on the dry side, flash of caramel and vanilla moves quickly to leather, orange peel, anise, Finish: lingers for awhile anise moves into cinnamon and black pepper a nice high rye spice. I usually prefer a sweeter Bourbon but this one is well spiced not over powering and not to bitter, a good change up to a sweet Bourbon.
