A great introduction to the world of bourbon, even for a whiskey beginner. It is quite smooth for its price. You should drink it neat. But for me I usually water it down for my everyday drinks, bcs the abv is quite high for me, so I can open the flavor. Nosing and palate is very bourbon-y. Sweet, smooth, oak taste. Go buy this if youre confused about which bourbon / whisky to buy

Glenfiddich Select Cask
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed January 25, 2018 (edited August 26, 2018)I buy glenfiddich select cask in malaysia, they sold the blue bottle version. And it too said select cask Nosing. I cant smell anything but alcohol. I think this is the worst nosing i have ever had. Like there is nothing but alcohol inside. From the nosing I can already tell this whiskey is to get you drunk, not for gentleman-like drink. Palate. Believe me this ones is for the cocktail. Better served on the rocks, drink it with your mate, get drunk faster. No smoothness at all, oak floral. No smoke or peat -
Johnnie Walker Island Green
Blended Malt — Scotland
Reviewed January 25, 2018 (edited August 16, 2018)This whiskey is like no other. The blend is so perfect sometimes i dont even drink it, i just nose it! I dont expect much from this version, but yes now im overwhelmed. The nose is delicate, smoky, peaty. Not super smoky but very interesting for me. The palate is dominant of smoke and peat too, with a little bit of wood-oak and I think a little bit of sweetness in the end. This is my fav!
