it's overly sweet and the actual whiskey taste is masked with a floral and waxy covering. it taste like crown Royal dropped a cube of lard in each bottle. With all that I can at least say I have a moderately expensive cooking whiskey now.
Very complex! To the nose it has a mossy smell, like you're deep into a forest after a hard rain. The taste has a strong smokeyness about it but after pushing past it you get a very light spice taste that hangs around for a while.
