WhistlePig The Boss Hog IV: The Black Prince
Rye — Indiana (bottled in Vermont), USA
Reviewed August 10, 2019 (edited July 3, 2020)Nose: the entire candy shop. Baked sugar, confectioners sugar, all of the sweets. Mild hotness, expected at 118pf. Palate: yeah there's the sugar. Mild citrus (mild grapefruit, orange zest), stone from of tree nuts (??). Finish: light alcohol, white sugar, smooth as can be. Lingers around until a fading finish, desires to be drank further. Would have rated a 5* if not for the price - buying this at $200 all day, can't justify the $500 cost. -
Parker's Heritage Barrel Finished in Orange Curaçao Barrels
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 27, 2019Nose: orange candy, artificial confectioner's sugar, very pleasant and smells like a candy store Taste: fresh orange on the front. Leads to a bold (but not overpowering) spice, tastes like a fall treat. Finish is a mellowing of the spice, leaves me ready for the next sip. Super clean. This was hyped up to me and did not disappoint. I was given a sample and now I'd like a bottle. I'd keep this around for awhile. -
Belle Meade Bourbon Cognac Cask Finish
Bourbon — (bottled in) Tennessee, USA
Reviewed February 6, 2019Strong vanilla on the front with light slice after. Nice sweetness to finish it off. Opening it up with water leads to heavy dilution, no water or ice needed to cool it off. -

TINCUP American Whiskey
Other Whiskey — Indiana (bottled in Colorado), USA
Reviewed August 28, 2015 (edited December 26, 2015)Standard whiskey, nice sweet smell / taste and easy going down. Nice for the price, and the tin cup gimmick is fun as well.
