Nose: Faint nose. Domminant red wine cask, isopropyl, and dried corn cobs hidden at the very end. Palate: Sweet and tart, suprinsingly not bitter. Wood spices up-front, unsalted pop-corn and red apple skin. Finish: Corn kettles on the tongue, wood spiciness (cinnamon, cumin, pepper) on the sides, and Isopropyl note on the back. Tongue turns dry, sides hold the spices, and front transforms from sweet to astringent. (Medium to long finish. Great execution). Sweet, dry, and playful. Some water stops the alcohol on the nose. Unafortunately, fades the rest. Some more complexity, sweetness, and less wine influence would have been an amazing improvement. Still, highly recommended. Cheers.35.0 CAD per Bottle

Nose: Upfront herbal quiality (turned down chamomile tea) blended in the rye/corn, barley sweetness, menthol, faint wet hay. Palate: Semi-sweet whipped cream, quick rye spices, undertone of barley, grass and menthol. Quite bitter. Finish: Faint almond/vanilla/sugar, warm rye spices, prominent leather bitterness at the end (quite harsh). Bitterness tammes down seconds later. Holds for a long time (best characteristic from the whole experience). The rest fades really fast. Decent mouth feel. Adding water brings caramel on the tongue, but kills the rest. I have seen a lot of good reviews. Had to try it. Unafortunately, price/quiality ratio is not there. Not recommended. Cheers.40.0 CAD per Bottle

Nose: Cherry syrup, vanilla, brown sugar, some pepper. Palate: Simple syrup, subtle rye spices, some tanginess. Finish: Rye spiceness lingers while some gentle bitternes kicks in. Mouth dries a bit by the very end. Enjoyable. Medium-short finish. A lot better than expected by the price. Sweet and simple. Not pungent like other ryes. Recommended.27.0 CAD per Bottle

Nose: Sweet pastry (shortbread, biscuits), green apples, pineapple. Palate: Vanilla pudin, artificial banana, pineapple, sweet barley (this one shines on the bottle after six months). Bit burny by the end. Finish: Some warm spices, banana candy, undertone of annis, bit bitter. Short finish. Almost instantenious. Quite sweet and more balanced without water. Undertone of young wood is more notable with a couple drops (not desirable for me). Limited range of notes. Young spirit and young wood are very noticeable. Still, good enough. Recommended.
