Very light on the nose with a nice floral elements that kick in after a few whiffs. Very smooth with honey, oak, vanilla, and pecan pie on the palette and it packs some heat. Excellent.

3.5, bit of mint and chocolate on the nose with a slight saltiness and hibiscus. Very smooth for 100 proof. Very pleasant aftertaste with sweet char, caramel, and spice. Its overpriced. $50 would be reasonable.

A decent bourbon, it has a lot of cinnamon on the nose and cinnamon, nutmeg, and slightly sweet candied pecan on the palette. Good but a bit one-dimensional.

Mix of musty smokiness and sweet apple on the nose. Slight sweetness, perfect amount of heat with nice charred sugar coming through. Highly recommend at the price range.

It has a nutty fruitiness to it on the nose. Very mellow and hints of citrus with, strangely, a bit of roasted marshmallow. The nose is nice. As most Canadian whiskeys, the palate is very mellow, slightly sweet with almond. Its certainly not complex and gets boring after your first few sips.

I get a lot of floral and fruitiness on the nose with a bit of vanilla and molasses. On the palate I find makers to be harsh. If I drink it, I prefer it on ice after the ice melts a bit and mellows out the harshness. Otherwise, it works well as a good mixing whiskey. There are less expensive mixing whiskeys that play the role just as well so I don't really find a good reason for keeping Makers on my shelf.

Incredibly smooth rye with a nice touch of spice, slightly sweet with brown sugar, and a beautiful clean finish. Some of my absolute favorite in an old fashioned or very distinctive on the rocks.

A lot of sweet corn on the nose with a slight floral note, palette best described as sweet bacon. Honestly, its a good, easy drinker that's cheap. Have on the rocks or use with your favorite cocktail.

Beautiful nose with caramel, butterscotch, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chocolate. Palate: Very smooth bourbon with with caramel, oak, candied apple, and a nice finish of slightly sweet black pepper. Absolutely gorgeous.

Aroma: Pine, oak, apple, pear Taste: Fresh spearmint and pine, light and smooth.
