Tastes

Light nose, heavy corn in the mouth. Light oil, finish is very quick, not much complexity here. I paid $40 for a bottle, and I think I overpaid. I've had several others way under this price that blew this out of the water. If it were priced the same as, say, Elijah Craig 12 I think I'd be happier. Not a bad bourbon at all, but will opt for the Reserve next time.
