Tastes

Very spicy and hot.... peat and oak shine, prefer Ardbeg. Better than the ten but not exactly smooth. Reminds me of a peaty high proof bourbon, not bad but probably will go with my ardbeg next time

Nose: candy corn, very sweet Palate: smooth oak and corn.... little bit of leather or tobacco. Really nice. Overall a great bourbon. On the sweet side but its better than most twice its price point

Nose: fruity oak and vanilla Palate: oak,corn, vanilla and cherry wood, lingering spice and pepper Overall a nice sipper. When I can't find buffalo trace this is my go to, great everyday bourbon that won't break the bank. Proof is right.

Nose: smoked raisins, plums, oak, BBQ sauce. Palate: smokey ash, extinguished bon fire. Juicy raisins. Finish: medium....ash, bitter oak, lingering plums and raisins. Charcoal. One of my guilty pleasures. A poor mans Lagavulin. Nice smoke/peat married with Sherry I'm guessing.... seem to come back to this one often. Smooth sipper and surprisingly oily. Nothing to complicated, just nice.

Sweet corn and oak on the nose. Palate is hot but with spice not alcohol. Cinnamon, pepper.... finish is long corn, dark fruit and oak. Reminds me of a less sweet heavier version of eh Taylor.

Great blended malt. Easy on the wallet when you need a Sherry fix. Dark fruits, chocolate covered cherry and malt... Wisp of smoke.
