Nose- salty meat, red orchard fruit, baking spice, Sherry, sweet malt and campfire smoke Palate- smoked cinnamon apple pie. Alcohol/ethanol. Finish- harsh, bitter and slightly sweet and smoky. Getting charred cinnamon apple crisp. Not bad but not exactly great. Tasting notes seem like it would be a good experience but honestly there is something offensive going on here. For the price I think I'll go with ardbeg wee beasty40.0 USD per Bottle

Reviewed March 6, 2022 (edited October 5, 2022)Nose: vanilla, cedar, little maple Palate: buttered popcorn! Like an explosion of butter and popcorn..... followed by rye spice. Finish is medium and honestly the weakest of this pour..... really funky. Overall decent.... gonna let it sit and revisit. Not sure how I feel about it.30.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed September 16, 2021 (edited May 23, 2022)Nose: sweet corn cob, cherry, banana bread. Candied fruit. Oak and baking spice. Palate: sweet oily corn bread. Buttered banana bread. Some spice. Finish: corn bread, banana bread, pepper and oak. Medium to long length due to the spice and rye. Overall U think its fantastic and $23 for 100 proof? It can't be bad. Buy it now in my opinion. Its good.23.0 USD per Bottle -
Nose: very very light. Corn, cream, oak, milk chocolate? Palate: muted bourbon notes. Corn, caramel, oak, leather. Finish: short and dry, leaves much to be desired. Not bad. The low proof hurts this a lot. Leaves much to be desired. Overall decent for Sipping if you don't want it to creep up on you. At its price point I think I'd save some coin and just get 101. The nose really shines given time but the palate never really delivers.32.0 USD per Bottle

I'm an Ardbeg fan. And this is A welcomed addition to their line up. At $40 this might be my favorite pour for the money. Nose- smoke, raisins, ash, pepper. sea, salt water, Sherry. Palate- very smooth. Sherry with extinguished bon fire smoke. Oily, smoked BBQ pork and pepper. Finish- medium, smoky and spicy. Don't think anything will beat this for the money. Very good and definitely recommend to anyone that enjoys peaty whisky.40.0 USD per Bottle

Old Forester 1910 Old Fine Whisky
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 7, 2020 (edited August 30, 2021)Nose: oak, vanilla, caramel. Hay? Barn wood. Banana peel, cherry medicine. Palate: vanilla, oak, and stewed fruit up front that turns to coffee mocha. Finish is medium long, charred wood and cherry. Very smooth double oaked and rich. Every time I have a new pour it changes. Very good for the price. Proof could be higher but this is a good sipper that won't burn you on arrival. Thumbs up.52.0 USD per Bottle
