G4 Blanco Tequila
Tequila Blanco — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed May 6, 2022 (edited April 6, 2023)Super smooth, can drink neat or on rocks easily. Agave notes, pepper and deeper notes of cardamom and oak on the back end. Flavorful for a blanco. Highly recommend -
Clase Azul Tequila Reposado
Tequila Reposado — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed May 6, 2022 (edited November 1, 2022)This is the best additive tequila I’ve ever had. It’s like drinking agave brown sugar water. Sweet notes and agave comes through strongly. Super smooth. People will say it’s got additives or flavoring to be negative. It’s definitely not a tequila in traditional status, but still flavorful and delicious. -
Tequila Ocho Añejo Barrel Select Transatlantic
Tequila Añejo — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed May 6, 2022If you like bourbon, this is the tequila for you. The same oak/barrel flavors you get from bourbon, you will get from this tequila. It’s very good and unique. I haven’t tasted anything like this and that’s in the best way possible -
Don Julio Añejo Tequila
Tequila Añejo — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed April 15, 2022 (edited May 12, 2022)This might be one of the best additive tequilas I’ve had recently. Soooo mellow, smooth. Agave and brown sugar presides mostly on your tongue. But there is a nice oak after finish that just rounds out the flavor. Absolutely worth it and at $65, won’t kill the bank account. Much better additive free options, but this will surprise many novice drinkers65.0 USD per BottleClassic Spirits Liquors -
Tequila Ocho Añejo La Magueyera 2014
Tequila Añejo — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed April 12, 2022Very smooth after letting sit on the rocks for about 3 mins. Not much developed flavors besides agave and oak. Pepper and some light citrus notes. But very oak forward. For people who like bourbon, there are some similar flavors with this tequila. -
This tequila, for the price, is absolutely incredible. For $30, you shouldn’t have all the flavor profiles that this tequila does. Vanilla, agave, light sweetness and a citrus note at the end. Weirdly enough, there is some sort of marshmallow flavor in there as well. If you purchase this, you will definitely not regret it!

Fortaleza Blanco Tequila
Tequila Blanco — Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed April 8, 2022 (edited September 27, 2022)Notably, I’m a novice to the tequila game, but three ice cubes, a shot of lime juice and letting it sit for about 3-5 minutes, this tequila is incredible. Tried it neat and you get pepper, vanilla and black licorice/star anise notes. Let it sit in ice and a little lime juice, the sweetness comes out and it gets as sippable as any tequila I’ve ever tried. Almost dangerously so. So good.70.0 USD per BottleWestClay Wine and Spirits
