Finally got my hands on a bottle after about a year of looking. Only $52 at my loca liquor store. One of my favorites and deserving of a much higher rating then the 89 it received from the distiller experts. Such a smooth bourbon. No need to add ice or water to this one. Beautiful.

Outstanding. Had a 2 oz pour at dinner this weekend. When i first nosed this , I didn't recognize the high proof. Upon sipping, you can't miss it. This bourbon coats your mouth with all types of heat and spice. Tolerable neat, but with the addition of a sliver of an ice cube, the flavor profile exploded. The best bourbon I have tasted.

I get vanilla custard on the nose in addition to oak and spice. Upon tasting I'm impressed by the mouth feel to this bourbon: thick and rich. The vanilla custard definitely comes through on the palate as well. I am thoroughly enjoying this bourbon!

I thought this was a great bourbon, and only $30. Did not feel thin whatsoever. Nice spicy nose. Smooth, and reminded me of Elijah Craig 12 a little bit. I would definitely recommend for EC12 fans.

Maybe I got a bad bottle but I was relatively unimpressed with this considering the high ratings from the Distiller experts. For me, Elijah Craig 12 was much better.
