Tastes

Purists may not like it, but who cares? This whiskey is absolutely delicious. Sweet, decadent, light, spicy, powerful, thick. There’s a lot going on here, it’s crazy. Very complex and very tasty. Continue sleeping on this please, so that I can enjoy it all. One of the best I’ve had.

Did a blind taste test with EHTBP and GTS and EHTBP won easily. Great legs in the glass. The palate is incredible. Sweet brown sugar, fruits, molasses, on the front end. The back is absolutely vicious, it hurts so good. Great moutfeel. Spice, pepper, and oak on the backend, but that molasses is still there. The spice and molasses fight it out in a very long finish with the spices eventually winning out. Truly exceptional. The longer it sits in the glass, the better the nose gets.
