The nose is so clearly green bananas it’s humorous. Followed by a sweet vanilla pipe tobacco smoke. The palate initially is light, with praline, vanilla and a nuttiness along with some of that banana coming thru. Reminiscent to a bananas foster. I agree that the oakiness is a bit harsh and feels rushed due to the second aging process, making me crave a smoother finish. All around a good bourbon to be sip’t neat or in an old fashion (done right)

Chocolatey delight alongside stone fruit. Smoke is mild to medium, with a raisin and caramel sweetness.

Lithe nose is very rich with toffee, smoke and stone fruit. The palate is absolutely at its fullest without too much alcohol burn, despite its steep strength. Chocolate, smoke and toffee. I would love this whisky after a heavy meal and coffee in the evening as it’s warming quality is superb.

The wafts of hot cinnamon raisin bread coming from this dram takes me back to my childhood. Spread with freshly whipped butter atop of a fluffy piece of toast that my mother would prepare for me. Additionally, the dates and caramel sweetness makes this a truly nostalgic whisky.

Rich tangerines on the nose, a full bodied whisky with rich flavorful fruit and malted grains thru out the dram. Finish is long and plentiful.

Deep root spice, such as licorice and anise. Almost like a sarsaparilla soda. Lingering Vanilla notes thru the finish with a faint blackberry sweetness. Makes a great Sazerac!

A dream of toffee and vanilla graze the nose, which is followed by a pleasant amount of heat from the 50.5% abv on this whiskey. The first taste will have you dancing thru orange groves, followed by vanilla sweetness reminiscent of an orange creamsicle. The finish is baking spice, which I am fond of in bourbon. Would recommend in an Old Fashioned.

Ranging from 20-35% Rye in their two mashbills, this whiskey is slightly sweet with dried fruit Notes on the palate. Enjoy this neat or with some lemon juice & dry curaçao.

72% C 13% R 15% B This single barrel bourbon is most likely Heaven Hill juice that’s been aged in old Willett barrels from the late ‘70s. I always get ripe fruit Notes that are sugar coated in vanilla when I drink this one. Enjoyable both neat and on the rocks!

63% C 27% R 10% B A spicy full-bodied bourbon that stands up to the force of bitters and sugar very well. If drank straight, some ice is highly recommended.
