Sufficiently smooth, sufficiently interesting. I'm glad I bought a bottle.

Actually the 1995 lovely sweet and smooth. Very little burn so nice.

Exactly what I expect of a good whiskey.

Pleasant floral light

Imagine a camp fire that burns down before the logs are fully consumed. The end of one has white and black squares over red coals. After it cools all the way, you lick it. My husband says it tastes like Sauraman whiskey; an ent funeral. This was our first time trying a peat whiskey.
