Fruity with pronounced spice on the palate, yet very smooth. I find the nose pleasant and a bit sweet, with a hint of toffee like aroma. Really enjoying this as my first experience with a higher rye bourbon!

I honestly was a little underwhelmed by this one, perhaps my expectations were too high. I find it very smooth with a full flavor and some spicy overtones, but otherwise kind of average and not enough there to justify the high price its fetching in my opinion.

I’m really enjoying this! Very smooth and full tasting with pronounced fruity sweetness and just a bit of spice. Definitely will compete with Buffalo Trace as my daily drinker going forward. Note I’m tasting a 2010 vintage...

This one just didn’t do it for me, as I found it pretty bland. I did have it with dinner so perhaps my palate wasn’t completely clear, so might need to give this one another try sometime.

Light, fruity and sweet, a nice intro to Japanese whiskey for me. Although not really my taste I still found it pleasant.

My first experience with the Four Roses line and I definitely enjoyed it. Sweet with just a bit of spiciness, very nice!

Fantastic aroma, with an almost syrupy mouthfeel and taste that is decadently rich with strong notes of oak and vanilla and also sweet undertones of caramel and brown sugar. I love this stuff, a fantastically smooth and full flavored bourbon in my opinion!
