Tastes

Apple, pear, beeswax, honey, nuts. Round and sweetish. Good for it’s price!

Slight banana peel, lightly fruity, grainy, sweetish, metallic vanilla. Between this, Jameson and Bushmills, this takes the third place for me.

Metallic grainy funk, green herbs, black pepper, caramel, oily long finish.

High rye noticeable with spices, baking spices, rye bread sourness. Dried fruits, but not sweet. Oaky dryness on the finish.

Pale straw colour with minimal colouring I guess. Fresh lemon and honey sweetness with some herbal notes on the nose. Honey and light caramel on the fairly tart palate. Surprisingly long finish due to the oilyness. Some peaty char at the very end.

Honey, taffee, butter bisquits, yellow apple on the nose, light palate, grainy, ethanoly, astringent, slightly metallic. Nice, average nose, but tastes like a cheap blend.

Grassy, minty and grainy with slight peat, char and spices on the palate.

Good baseline bourbon with caramel, slight rye spices and tartness

Dried fruits, orange peel, orange blossom, rye spice, hint of vanilla

Dried and canned fruits esp. raisin, varnish, cola, chocolate, hint of caramel
